Q&A with A Harry's Customer
At Harry's, we have a wide range of customers that come into our bar everyday. Being in the heart of Purdue University's campus we typically see a lot of Purdue students. This week, we sat down with one of our frequent customers, Emilly. Emilly is a senior in Public Relations from Los Angeles, California. She was happy to share her experiences from her times at Harry's with us. We hope that you gain an better understanding of what Harry's is and the atmosphere we try to produce here.
Q: When did you first go to Harry's?
A: I went to Harry's on my 21st Birthday
Q: What do you remember from your first experience at Harry's?
A: It was the Sunday night after spring break. It was pretty empty. Even with it being empty, it was a cool bar because it's somewhat historic and a Purdue tradition.
Q: What do you like the most about Harry's?
A: My favorite thing about Harry's is the atmosphere and the free popcorn, that is always a plus.
Q: Do you have a favorite drink at Harry's?
A: Usually I'll just get one of the many beers on tap. If I am with a group of a lot of people, I'll get a pitcher to share.
Q: If you weren't drinking beer, do you have a go-to cocktail?
A: Occasionally I just get a grasshopper.
Q: What makes Harry's different from the other bars on campus?
A: Harry's is smaller but the interior is so much nicer than most of the other bars. Once again, it's the only bar that feels like a real Purdue tradition. I think the Fish Bowl, the round seating area upstair is pretty cool. It is also cool to see all of the names on the walls of the people who have been here before us.
That concludes our interview with just one of our many customers!
