A Look into the Mind of a Harry's Bouncer

Ever wonder about those big men standing at the door checking your ID? The bouncers at Harry’s have a quite serious job and we wanted to take a look into the minds of the men that make it all happen.

What is your favorite drink at Harry’s?

I normally don’t ever drink at Harry’s but we definitely have a few crowd favorites. The Jon Daily is probably the number one drink that people order and the mind eraser is the number one shot that our customers all order.

What is your favorite thing to order on the food menu?

I also normally don’t eat at Harry’s because I would have to come into work early to do so but people really like our wings along with any of our custom chips. We also hear that people love our burgers and our tiger sauce.

What is your favorite memory/story of working here?

That is a hard one to answer, I have a lot of funny and not extremely appropriate stories of people who get into trouble at Harry’s. My least favorite memories are when people are acting like idiots and get into fights and I have to make them leave. My favorite memory is when Alumni come back to campus because they are always so gracious and so nice to all of the staff. It’s fun to see the classes from the 80’s come in because that’s when the current owner purchased the bar so we have a lot of memories in that decade.

If you could describe Harry’s in one word what would it be?

If I could describe Harry’s in one word it would be consistency. I would choose this word because since Harry’s opened back in the day we try to make everyone have the same experience. This is because we are known for our traditions at Harry’s and we want Alumni who come back to Harry’s to have the same experience that they did back in the day.
