How to "do" Harry's

Every bar has an unspoken set of rules, right? Well here I'll spell it all out for you, the ins and outs of Harry's Chocolate Shop and how to make sure you're "doing" Harry's right.

First off, depending on the day of the week, get in line early. You know us, we like to do things early especially going ugly and getting in line. Seriously, you want to be able to get a good seat and upstairs may or may not be available to you. The seating is limited downstairs and those that are committed enough to get first dibs aren't going to be getting up and leaving anytime soon. People like to sit around and enjoy our atmosphere, so if you're anything like me and absolutely hate standing, get there early. You get the point.

Second of all, get a game plan with your peeps. Ordering food? Have someone get to the shop early to snag a table. No one likes to stand around trying to eat and be graceful, save yourself some trouble and designate a friend to save your seats. Meeting up with friends at the shop? Know where they are before you come in...we're kind of a popular place if you haven't heard and once things really get going, you're going to have a hard time casually wandering around looking for someone you know. Come in ready and determined to fight your way through the people-watchers to get to your fellow posse.

Lastly, take it all in. Don't be in a rush to get in and get out. Perch yourself on one of our windowsills with a drink or two in hand and enjoy our atmosphere. Strike up a conversation with one of our employees about any of our drink or food options. Just when you think you know it all about us, there's always something new to learn. No matter how many times you've been to Harry's no two experiences will ever be the same.

So come in, stay awhile, have some fun even if it's too much fun and come back soon for a whole new experience the next time around.
