Harry's Popcorn: We Love You

The night is young, or 12:30am, so mostly young? If you’re doing your night right. You’ve been to the 3 other bars around Purdue. They just don’t stack up. One smelled, one had 2 loners in it, and the third was playing weird music you hate. You don’t know where to go… except you do. You stumble down State Street and see the beautiful light at the end of the tunnel: Harry’s Chocolate Shop. You speed up your walk to this glorious place (thinking they actually should sell chocolate here too, because that would make this the best bar EVER), hand the bouncer your I.D., his names Jack, he waves you in (You’ve made it). You’re meeting your friends after a night out in beautiful West Lafayette, the other local bars just don’t stack up Harry’s Chocolate Shop. You order yourself your usual from your favorite bartender: Nick (he’s cute too). A John Daly please. Yum!

By now you feel an emptiness, not a lonely emptiness, but literally a pit in your stomach. You are FAMISHED and STARVED. If only Harry’s menu lasted past 11pm! (You would kill for a chicken quesadilla) But then, you almost forgot, but could never actually forget: Harry’s Popcorn. How could you not remember? The buttery smell of glorious goodness. The perfect late night snack to keep you warm while you slurp down your cocktail. Harry’s Popcorn isn’t like any old popcorn, it’s popped fresh & warm. It’s the perfect salty treat to compliment your sweet drink. You would marry that bag of popcorn if you could. And just like that, you feel warm and good. And all is right in the world, for at least one Friday night.
